This publication, issued quarterly, was produced from 1943 to 1973 and contains information on the crop carryover and remaining grain stock each year. Data includes the number and capacity of both on- and off-farm storage facilities by state. In 1974, the data covered here was continued under the publication Grain Stocks.

This publication provides information about the United States onion production from 1959 to 1982. Information includes the stock supply of onions held in storage, the number sold and lost (due to rot or sprouting) and number utilized.

This publication was produced from 1973 to 1985 and provides information about the production of soybeans and quantity of soybeans in both on-and off-farm holdings. Continues Stocks of Soybeans. Prior to this publication, the same information was presented in the publication titled Stocks of Soybeans from 1965 to 1972.

This document provides revisions to the 2006 in-shell pecan inventories based on information from an incident in September 2006 in which it was reported that in-shell pecans were being double counted, as well as the addition of previously unreported inventories. The unreported inventory data was not available prior to the September 21, 2006 Cold Storage release. Therefore, the July and August 2006 inventory levels are revised from the original release of the September Cold Storage report. There will be no further revisions to 2005 in-shell pecan inventories. Estimates for 2006 are subject to revision during the normal Annual Summary report released in February of the following year. Minimal revisions are expected due to the publication of revisions at this time.

The agricultural chemical use estimates in this report are based on data compiled from the Postharvest Chemical Use Survey. All results refer to pesticide applications and integrated pest management at off-farm storage and processing facilities after harvest. On-farm postharvest applications were beyond the scope of this survey. Beginning in May 2010, NASS agricultural chemical use data are published to the Quick Stats 2.0 database only (full-text publications have been discontinued), the latest data releases are available under the NASS Chemical Usage Program.

This report contains the cold storage holdings of grapes in California. Data presented is organized by variety, package type, and date.

This report, issued four times a year, contains the grower, processor, and local dealer storage stocks in potato producing areas. The data is obtained from a probability survey conducted in the 13 potato producing States from a sample of growers, processors, and storage facilities who are asked to provide the quantity of potatoes stored as of the first of the month as well as shrinkage and loss information. Monthly processing data is collected from a Census of all known processing facilities in 8 States.
