This report is a daily grain report containing bids and/or trades of grain commodities. Grain commodities are classed and graded based on official USDA standards or guidelines for coarse grains, oilseeds, and/or pulses. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report contains price spreads and simple averages for individual grain commodities and may include a basis calculated from the current day or prior day close of a publicly traded futures price. The commodity exchanges used in calculating the basis are identified as either the Chicago Board of Trade, Minneapolis Grain Exchange, or Kansas City Board of Trade.
This report contains the daily and weekly pounds, majority, and weighted average for various broiler parts, as well as the daily and five day average whole body index for parts trading in the southern states.
This report contains information on fruit and vegetable truck rates, with commentary on shortages and supply of trucks. Includes weekly price ranges and percent change by district/region and city, as well as information on quantity of truck shipments of fresh fruits and vegetables weekly.
This report contains information on truck rates and availability of trucks by region. For each district/region is a per load price range for the week, as well as a second price mostly for Tuesday. Also included are retail on-highway diesel prices for the U.S., as well as by U.S. region (East Coast, new England, Central Atlantic, Lower Atlantic, Midwest, Gulf Coast, Rocky Mountains, West Coast, and California.)
