In 1997, ERS expanded Livestock, Dairy, and Poultry Outlook to include information formerly contained in Poultry Outlook. The final issue of Poultry Outlook was published November 18, 1996. This archive report contains detailed analysis and data covering the poultry sector, focusing on production, price, and trade statistics.

This publication ceased production in 1986 and was published between 1981 and 1986. Factors affecting poultry industries, such as feed prices and droughts, are included, as well as trends and forecasts across several livestock industries, including hogs and cattle.

This publication reports on the average price of farm products received by producers at point of first sale. Products include livestock, dairy, and poultry and related products, with earlier reports including vegetables and other farm products. The prices are organized by State and contain data from years 1866 to 1982.

This publication includes information on dairy and poultry commodities, including domestic production (by state), movement from the farm, receipts at markets, reshipments, farm and market prices, exports, imports, total production in foreign countries, and foreign market prices. Publication coverage includes data from 1849 to 1961.

This publication includes data on U.S. farm prices of eggs, turkeys and chickens and the various factors affecting production from 1910 to 1935. In 1937, this data was included under the new publication titled the Poultry and Egg Situation.
