Included in the report are statistics relevant to the number of contracts by crop, the percentage of production sold through marketing contracts, and prices received by farmers and crop prices. Additional characteristics mentioned in the report include distance traveled for contract versus non-contract delivery, and the presence or absence of confidentiality clauses within the contracts.

Hay prices are listed by grade, rain prices by variety, and ethanol prices by co-product. All categories contain the current week's prices and the prior year's prices with grain also containing the prior week's prices. Also included is an analysis on recent market trends.

This report covers the Central Illinois soybean crush. Data presented include soybean and soybean product prices, yield, and value. Prices, yields, and values are given for the current week, the prior week, and the prior year.

This report covers St. Louis feed prices. Prices are listed by feed variety and included price changes from the prior week.

This report is a daily grain report containing bids and/or trades of grain commodities. Grain commodities are classed and graded based on official USDA standards or guidelines for coarse grains, oilseeds, and/or pulses. Price information is released by USDA’s Livestock, Poultry, and Grain Market News Division under the Voluntary Price Reporting authority of USDA’s Agriculture Marketing Service. This report contains price spreads and simple averages for individual grain commodities and may include a basis calculated from the current day or prior day close of a publicly traded futures price. The commodity exchanges used in calculating the basis are identified as either the Chicago Board of Trade, Minneapolis Grain Exchange, or Kansas City Board of Trade.
