This data set contains the annual, quarterly, and monthly domestic supply and use statistics for oil crops and their products and for animal fats and their products. It includes oilseed acreage, yield, and production estimates as well as farm and wholesale price series. Annual international imports and exports as well as global supply and distribution of oil crops, vegetable oils, and protein meal are also included in this data set. This is the first report issued by NASS on marketing contract arrangements for corn, soybeans, and wheat. Included in the report are statistics relevant to the number of contracts by crop, the percentage of production sold through marketing contracts, and prices received by farmers and crop prices. Additional characteristics mentioned in the report include distance traveled for contract versus non-contract delivery, and the presence or absence of confidentiality clauses within the contracts.
