This publication provides information on the U.S. acreage devoted to soybeans and the soybean yield produced from 1944 to 1965. Data from all 30 soybean-producing states are included in this publication.

This publication provided information about the production of soybeans, including the amount in storage at end-of-year and the number of bushels processed for oil. This publication was produced from 1965 to 1972. In 1973, it was continued with the name Soybean Stocks.

This publication presents on the estimates of farm use, sales, and value of field crops and compares the numbers to the past year's estimated production for the previous period. Important field crops are included by state in table form. Annual data from 1937 to 1981 is included.

This publication was produced from 1973 to 1985 and provides information about the production of soybeans and quantity of soybeans in both on-and off-farm holdings. Continues Stocks of Soybeans. Prior to this publication, the same information was presented in the publication titled Stocks of Soybeans from 1965 to 1972.

This special publication provides information about the amount of corn, sorghum, soybeans, cotton, barley, oats, rice, sunflowers, and wheat that farmers intended to plant in 1991. The National Agricultural Statistics Service telephoned a cross section sample of farmers and ranchers throughout the nation to ask for their intentions.

Agricultural Outlook (AO) ceased publication in December 2002. A new magazine, AmberWaves, replaced Agricultural Outlook, FoodReview, and Rural America in February 2003. This archive contains AO publications covering commodity markets and trade, farm policy, and other food- and agriculture-related topics. Each release includes data on individual commodities, farm income, the general economy, agricultural trade, and related issues.

This is the first report issued by NASS on marketing contract arrangements for corn, soybeans, and wheat. Included in the report are statistics relevant to the number of contracts by crop, the percentage of production sold through marketing contracts, and prices received by farmers and crop prices. Additional characteristics mentioned in the report include distance traveled for contract versus non-contract delivery, and the presence or absence of confidentiality clauses within the contracts.

This handbook identifies the usual planting and harvesting dates on a state by state basis for United States field crops covered in the National Agricultural Statistics Service's National program of crop estimates. It updates the information contained in the previous edition of this handbook which was issued in 1997.

The Field Offices of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service compiled the basic information and prepared the estimates of usual dates based on historical crop progress estimates and the knowledge of industry specialists.

This weekly report covers national feedstuff wholesale prices. Feedstuff is categorized by variety and region, with prices for each region. Also included are the prices from the prior week and year.
