It includes the current value of the Adjusted World Price (AWP), the Loan Deficiency Payment (LDP)(or Marketing Loan Gain), the Coarse Count Adjustment, the Upland User Marketing Certificate Rate (Step 2), and the Extra Long Staple (ELS) Step 2 Competitiveness Payment; a report of Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) sales of Upland and Pima cotton forfeited to the CCC loan; supply, demand, offerings, prices, trading activity for the seven spot markets (Southeast, North Delta, South Delta, East Texas-Oklahoma, West Texas, Desert Southwest, and San Joaquin Valley), a textile mill report, stocks, forward contracting, prices received by producers, certificated stocks, production, and consumption; and reports and information from the Bureau of the Census, the National Agriculture Statistics Service (NASS), the Farm Service Agency (FSA), the Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), and the Economic Research Service (ERS).

This bulletin presents final estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for the production years 1930 to 2002. Estimates contained in this publication provide a historical record and benchmark for current estimates. These releases include annual and quarterly estimates for inventory, sows farrowed, pig crops, number of hog operations, and the value of inventory. This publication continues what was previously reported in the publication titled Meat Animals, Farm Production and Income.

This special report presents historical data on the sheep and goat industries including a historical overview of the sheep and goat sector, inventory, operation numbers, inventory values, sheep, lamb, and wool prices, lamb crop, and value of production. The report highlights changes in the sheep industry over the past quarter century, such as in numbers of sheep and goats, wool production, slaughter, and gross income. The data in the report is based on a probability survey of all operations with at least one head of sheep or goats.

This annual publication includes data on agricultural production, supplies, consumption, facilities, costs, and returns and is intended as a reference for common use. Foreign agricultural trade statistics of government and non-government shipments from the U.S. to foreign countries are also included in the report. Estimates made for crops, livestock, and poultry are based on a number of sample surveys. The report is divided by sector (e.g. oilseeds, fats and oils, vegetables and melons, dairy and poultry, etc). Farm expenditures and income, insurance, fertilizer and pesticide, consumption, and conservation and forestry statistics are also included in the report.

This release includes statistics for on-farm use of agricultural chemicals and pest management practices from producers of targeted fruit crops in major producing states. The survey population consisted of fruit and berry growers and the survey was intended to provide estimates of chemical usage at the state level. On non-survey year, acreage is based on trends, county extension service data, end of year production surveys, and other indicators. Beginning in May 2010, NASS agricultural chemical use data are published to the Quick Stats 2.0 database only (full-text publications have been discontinued), the latest data releases are available under the NASS Chemical Usage Program
